About Vice Dean for Academic Affaris and Development

I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the College of Applied Medical Sciences at King Khalid University. At the College Agency for Educational Affairs and Development, we are committed to enhancing the quality of the educational process and developing academic programs in line with the latest scientific and professional standards, through the adoption of best educational practices at both local and international levels.

In alignment with the University’s directions, we strive to provide a stimulating learning environment that supports innovation and continuous learning, and contributes to preparing qualified healthcare professionals who meet the needs of society and the labor market, in harmony with the University’s institutional strategy. We continuously work on updating curricula, adopting modern teaching methods, and fostering an educational environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and sustainable learning.

These efforts are consistent with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which emphasize the development of human capital, the enhancement of education quality, and the improvement of the efficiency of the healthcare sector. Accordingly, we aim to graduate competent individuals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to contribute effectively to society and the labor market.

We ask Allah for success and guidance, and we look forward to achieving further excellence and leadership in our educational and developmental journey.

Objectives
  1. Enhance the quality of the educational process and ensure the achievement of high-quality learning outcomes in accordance with national and international academic standards.  
  2. Develop and update academic programs in alignment with the latest scientific developments and labor market needs. 
  3. Align educational plans with the University’s strategy and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. 
  4. Promote the use of modern technologies and innovative teaching methods to support effective learning. 
  5. Improve the student and faculty educational experience by providing a high-quality learning environment that is stimulating and supportive of creativity and excellence. 
  6. Support faculty members and develop their educational and technical skills, positively reflecting on the quality of teaching. 
  7. Monitor the evaluation of academic programs and continuously strive to obtain and maintain academic accreditation. 
  8. Strengthen academic and professional partnerships that contribute to the development of the educational and training process. 
  9. Support continuous learning and professional development activities for students and graduates. 
  10. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement in all educational practices within the college.
