College of Applied Medical Science
The Student Club of the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, is pleased to invite you to attend a training course entitled:
“The Art of Clinical Assessment and Decision-Making”
The course will be presented by Ms. Shatha Mukhtar, Head of the Medical Rehabilitation Department at the Medical City, King Khalid University.
The Guidance and Counseling Unit at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha organized an orientation and guidance meeting for new students for the Academic Year 1448–1449 AH, corresponding to 2026–2027.
The meeting aimed to introduce students to the College, its departments, academic programs, and regulations, and to provide them with the guidance needed to begin their university journey with confidence and excellence.
On 18 August 2026, the College held a special ceremony to celebrate the efforts and achievements of its partners in success, faculty members, and staff, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to supporting the College’s progress and strengthening its position within the University and beyond. The ceremony featured a visual presentation highlighting key achievements, initiatives, and notable contributions that have supported the College’s goals and enhanced its role in community engagement.
Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Solami, the University witnessed, on 18 August 2026, the signing of a cooperation agreement between the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha and the “Mutaafifoon” Intellectual Association. The agreement aims to strengthen partnership between the two parties, develop areas of mutual cooperation, support community initiatives, exchange expertise, and advance shared objectives.
The College of Applied Medical Sciences held its sixth scientific forum on Sunday, May 10, 2026, with the participation of faculty members, researchers, and graduate students, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance research activity and promote the exchange of scientific expertise among its members.
The forum featured presentations by graduates of the Master’s programs in:
• Clinical Laboratory Sciences
• Medical Imaging
The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences Club in Abha, in cooperation with the Department of Student Affairs for Student Activities at King Khalid University, organized a seminar Scientific entitled: "Discover Your Effective Pattern in Study", Monday, 27-4-2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, at the Common Chapters Building For college.
The Applied Medical Sciences College Club – Abha, in partnership with Asir General Hospital and in collaboration with the #Deanship_of_Student_Affairs agency for student activities, organized the “World Laboratory Medicine Day” event at Lavanda Park, with the participation of students from #King_Khalid_University and a number of visitors.
