عن البرنامج

تم تأسيس قسم العلوم الإشعاعية عام ١٤٢٤هـ، ويهدف برنامج بكالوريوس الأشعة التشخيصية إلى إعداد الطلاب لتطوير القدرة على تقييم وتخطيط وتنفيذ تقنيات وإجراءات التصوير الاشعاعي بمختلف الاجهزة بغرض تشخيص المرضى وفقًا لاحتياجاتهم وظروفهم الصحية.

الريادة والتميز الأكاديمي في مجال علوم الأشعة والتصوير الطبي.

الرسالة

إعداد الطلاب وتسهيل أساليب ممارسة العلوم الإشعاعية والتصوير الطبي الفعالة لتحقيق معايير تعليمية عالية وتحقيق جودة في مجال البحث والمشاركة في خدمة المجتمع.

الأهداف

• إعداد الخريجين بالاستفادة من المعارف والمهارات والتقنيات اللازمة لبدء ممارسة التصوير الطبي في سوق العمل.

• سيوفر الخريجون أعلى مستوى من مهارات رعاية المرضى من خلال تطبيق أحدث المعايير في مجال الأشعة.

• سوف يمتلك الخريجون المعرفة ومهارات البحث في العلوم الإشعاعية والتصوير الطبي.

• سيتمكن الخريجون من المساهمة وتقديم مستوى عالٍ من الخدمات المجتمعية.

Knowledge:
K1	Describe the basic and advanced techniques in diagnostic imaging, treatment and patient investigations,
K2	Recall the structures and functions of human body and the related diseases associated with it.
K3	Recognize the principal of medical imaging instrumentation and radiation physics
K4	State the classification, physical and chemical properties and some reactions mechanism for organic and non-organic compounds.
K5	Recognize principles of care of patient and radiation safety.
Skills
S1	Estimate the exposure factors and parameters to achieve optimum medical imaging consistent with all the safety issues.
S2	Demonstrate effective communication skills in the clinical setting.
S3	Develop knowledge of research methodology
S4	Illustrate the basic patient-care skills and techniques
S5	Illustrate the ability to use up to date technology in medical information, equipment and communications.
