Research Facilities : Department of Medical Rehabilitation Science
  1. Laboratory space: Essential laboratories include Physical therapy, Audiology, and Speech-Language Pathology. Laboratories for biomechanics, musculoskeletal, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, Audiology – Diagnostic, Electrophysiological and Balance, Speech, Swallowing, pediatrics, neurological rehabilitation labs, etc.
  2. Research equipment: The department has up-to-date research equipment, such as Motion analysis systems, posturography, and wireless electromyography for measuring movement patterns, joint angles, and muscle activity. Exercise physiology and fitness testing equipment for the assessment of physical performance. Data collection and analysis software and hardware for statistical analysis of research data. Computers, servers, software, and hardware for the researchers. The equipment is up-to-date and compatible with the latest research software and applications. Also, the department has collaborative research opportunities with other departments or institutions.
  3. Clean rooms: Medical Rehabilitation Sciences Department conducts research in clean rooms. These facilities are equipped with specialized equipment and protective gear to ensure that the environment is free from contamination.
