To provide future leaders in radiology and medical imaging nationally, locally and internationally.

Program Mission

Preparation of distinct graduates through academic program based on interaction between different disciplines, including medical imaging, scientific sciences, theoretical and clinical practices by applying international standards, use modern scientific methods and research, servicing the community and encourages talented students.

Program goals

  • Graduates will have the ability to describe the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to begin the practice of diagnostic radiology.

  • Graduates will be able to provide the highest level of patient care by applying state-of-the-art standards in the field of radiology

  • Graduates will be able to create and support a conductive research in diagnostic radiology.

  • Graduates will be able to provide and maintain a high level of community services.

Program Objectives

  • Provide systematically education cover all aspects of scientific and medical sciences.

  • Demonstrate medical ways of diagnostic imaging and various techniques using electromagnetic, acoustic and nuclear waves from inside or outside the human body.

  • Provide a practical and clinical training on diagnostic devices, accessories, applications of medical imaging, modern techniques and duties of quality control and quality assurance.

  • Understand the professional rules, regulations, ethical, standards, policies and procedures for health care.

  • Developed higher skills and scientific knowledge to encourage scientific research

  • To expose the students to a wide variety of community encountered clinical problems and community services.
