The advances in higher education have demanded higher education institutions -not only in Saudi Arabia but worldwide- to seek, develop and improve the quality of their academic staff, policy in relation to teaching and learning, administrative policy, scientific research, training of all staff and qualified graduates. Collage of Applied Medical Sciences (CAMS) is working on these standards to meet the requirement of the market and the excellence in scientific research within the umbrella of King Khalid University Mission, which has obtained the unconditional institutional accreditation from NCAAA. Therefore, the Faculty Agency of CAMS -represented by the Academic Development & Quality Unit- is taking the responsibilities for setting up the strategic goals and plan of the college by adopting the NCAAA policy in order to obtain the national accreditation.
CAMS has earned the ISO 9001 "TUV NORD" accreditation in management to raise the performance efficiency and increase productivity in different administrative units in college.
Our aim is to apply the concept of quality in the college of applied medical sciences, which is adopted from the long-term concept of quality in King Khalid University. Therefore, the college has initiated and constructed the internal quality assurance system in terms of academic, administrative and student training, which lead the college to be certificated by the TUV NORD “ISO 9001” for Quality management. Academic development and quality is considered a must in every academic institution to achieve excellences in education.
